What is Accessibility?

Accessibility ensures that websites, tools, and technologies are usable by people with disabilities. (W3C, 2024)

Accessibility helps everyone, not just people with disabilities. Here are a few examples of who may benefit:

  • People who use mobile phones or smaller windows.

  • Older people whose abilities are changing.

  • People with temporary disabilities like a broken arm.
